“ One of my favourite places in Trieste. Staff is super nice and atmosphere is magical. With all the books around the place you really feel like you step in the world of imagination. Strongly recommend to visit! ”
“ It is a nice and comfortable place. The tea and croissant are very good. It offers a wide choice of tea and the pistachio croissant. It has big windows which guarantee much light. The seats are very comfortable and the toilet is clean. ”
“ This is a small bistro/full bar (plus library on the second floor, hence the name “caffe’ dei libri”, meaning books’ café’) located on a pedestrian zone in the center of the city. We stopped here just for a couple of glasses of wine, which came with chips and various other snacks (in Trieste you’ll never have a drink without at least some free chips!). I love their décor inside (their chandeliers are particular and a nice touch), but since it was a gorgeous chilly day, we sat on their outdoor patio, which I found relaxing even if it’s in the middle of a very crowded pedestrian zone. Their wine was good, the service was very fast and the prices very reasonable. Next time I’m in Trieste, I’ll surely visit their library and try their panini/tramezzini. ”
